What will nutrition counseling with a dietitian look like?
As a registered dietitian nutritionist, I approach each family as it’s own unique situation. There is no one size fits all. I’ll use an evidence based approach to help you along with your family’s feeding and eating concerns at a pace that is slow and sustainable. Our goal is long term success.
I’m so overwhelmed, where do we even start?
Good news, I’m here to help with that feeling of being overwhelmed, so you are in the right place!! Fill out my contact form or send me an email and we’ll go from there. I’ll get to know you and your situation a little bit to make sure we are a good fit to work together, and then we’ll schedule our first session.
How often and how long will we work together?
It really depends! We’ll start with an assessment tool early on in our work together. Based on that, I can give you a better idea. Some families need 3-4 sessions, some may need several sessions to reach their goals. We take it slow so the changes last.
I need help myself, not just for my children. Can you help me too?
Absolutely! I work with adults to address their eating and feeding concerns as well. Oftentimes when a parent works to improve their own relationship with food, it will have benefits for the whole family. Solo adult? I am happy to work with you too!
Do you take insurance?
My services are self-pay, or out of network (OON). I reserve a limited number of sliding scale, needs-based spots. I can provide super bills for submission for reimbursement for eligible services.
